This page explains the cookies used on icelandvideographer.com and what they do.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work. Others help the site owner understand how the site is being used.

Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by a short code. These record things like the pages you visit, roughly which country you're visiting from, and the device and browser you're using. They don't tell me who you are. Google Analytics cookies last for up to two years. The data is processed by Google, and you can read how Google handles it here: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Vimeo

The films on this site are hosted on Vimeo. When a film loads or you press play, Vimeo may set its own cookies. These are covered by Vimeo's cookie policy: https://vimeo.com/cookie_policy

No advertising cookies

This site doesn't use advertising or retargeting cookies, and nothing is sold or shared for advertising.

How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. To stop Google Analytics recording your visits on any website, you can install Google's opt-out browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
